Community Giving & Donations at Bedford

Community Giving

At Whole Foods Market we value the communities in which we do business; this is one of our Core Values! We strive to make a difference. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month. So, please feel free to submit a donation application to the Whole Foods Market closest to you!

Charitable Giving

One way we try to help is by making donations of gift cards or our products to some of the non-profit groups in the neighborhoods surrounding our store: Bedford, Concord, Carlisle, Nashua, Westford, Lexington, Arlington and more!
Donation Requests are accepted online only. You should complete the online application at least 60 days prior to when you would expect your donation. As part of the process you will be asked to upload a copy of your group’s 501(c)3 letter from the IRS/US Treasury. Please note that this is a federal letter and not the Tax Exempt Form from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Click here to apply online; be sure to choose Bedford as your store.

Community 5% Days

Our 5% days are another meaningful way we give back to our community. Four times a year, on designated days, a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days. Please note, there is often a wait list for these days so submitting your application early is encouraged.

Community Involvement

There are other ways that our store works with non-profit agencies in the area. We participate regularly with other Greater Boston stores or on our own by offering our customers coupons at checkout enabling them to support selected agencies.
