At Whole Foods Market we value the communities in which we do business; this is one of our Core Values! We strive to make a difference. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month. So, please feel free to submit a donation application to the Whole Foods Market closest to you!
One way we try to help is by making donations of gift cards or our products to some of the non-profit groups in the neighborhoods surrounding our store- Brookline, Brighton/Allston, Fenway/Kenmore. For Donation Request inquiries, please call: 617-202-0550. As part of the process you will be asked to provide your group’s 501(c)3 letter from the IRS/US Treasury. Please note that this is a federal letter and not the Tax Exempt Form from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

5% days are another meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.
Some of our recent recipients have been the Brookline GreenSpace Alliance and the Brookline Symphony Orchestra. Many of our stores have banded together to support some of the larger groups and our store often joins with our other five Boston stores on citywide organizations.
There are other ways that our store works with non-profit agencies in the area. We participate regularly with other Greater Boston stores or on our own by offering our register coupon program at checkout enabling our customers to support selected agencies. Brookline Arts Center, The One Fund, Birthday Wishes, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network are a few of the groups which have benefited from this program.
