Italian Appetizers with Francesca Giarraffa

Great recipes for your fall entertaining or a quick meal on a busy night! Use puff pastry to make an Italian version of a “hot pocket” filled with ricotta cheese, herbs and proscuitto. Try Suppli Roman Style Rice Balls made with Arborio rice and filled with mozzarella cheese, coated in breadcrumbs and fried. Crostini supplies the base for a tasty treat topped with sautéed black kale and bits of pancetta. Then enjoy a Bruschetta spread with mussels sautéed in chilies, garlic and fresh herbs.
