Frozen yogurt was first created in the 1970s, and reached the height of its popularity in the 80s. It’s made in a similar fashion to ice cream, but using yogurt and milk instead of cream. The resulting taste is more tart than regular ice cream, but frozen yogurt is also considered a healthier alternative.
