Dal Fry, Eggplant-Potato-Tomato Sabzi, Roti and Mango Lassi

Tired of Tandoori Chicken and Saag Paneer being your “go to” Indian choices?  Ever wonder what an ordinary “everyday” Indian meal might include? Come and learn to prepare a meal that might be served in homes across North India any night of the week. Dal is a classic lentil soup made with a tempered seasoning and can be eaten alone or paired with a Sabzi (a seasoned stir-fry of eggplant, tomatoes and potatoes). These two dishes are traditionally eaten with Roti (whole wheat, unleavened flat bread).  For dessert we’ll prepare Mango Lassi (a drink made with pureed mango pulp and yogurt/milk).
