Chicken Tikka Masala, Matar Pulao and Kheer

Come and learn to prepare a sumptuous three-course meal that consists of popular dishes from the North of India.  Begin with an appetizer of Chicken Tikka  (boneless chicken marinated in yogurt and spices and baked to perfection), followed by an entrée of Chicken Tikka Masala (Chicken Tikka folded into a delectable sauce of tomatoes, onions, spices and fresh cream), a side dish of Matar  Pulao (a rice and pea dish seasoned with cumin, cardamom and cloves), and Kheer for dessert (rice pudding made with coconut milk and a hint of cardamom). This class is held in the Cooking and Lifestyles Classroom at Whole Foods Market, 3135 Washtenaw Ave., in Ann Arbor. Students may register on-line through www.wccnet.edu
