Whole Foods Market/Georgetown was the first Whole Foods Market store to open in DC in 1996. We are located in the Glover Park neighborhood of NW DC and serve the neighborhoods of Georgetown, Burleith, Glover Park, Cathedral Heights, The Palisades, Cleveland Heights, Spring Valley and many more.
We are very diverse and International. Our customers are delighted to converse with our team members in at least 6 different languages. We are proud of our friendly and helpful team members and of special store exclusives. Visit our Juice Bar, our Deli and our Specialty appetizer bar and cheese case, wine and beer department to discover our special selections. Whether you are looking for quick on-the-go lunch like fresh pizza, sandwiches, salads, hot soups and entrees, or rich decadent desserts, catering platters, beer, wine and champagnes to bring to a party, we have it all.
Our Whole Body department is located in the front of the store. Besides vitamins, body care, homeopathic and herbal remedies, the department carries a wide array of locally-made soaps, accessories, jewelry and pottery, perfect for gift giving. We also have a great selection of product for babies and children and a growing library of books.
How to find us?
We are on Wisconsin Avenue NW, overlooking historic Georgetown, 2 city-blocks North of Whitehaven Street NW (the last stop on the red Circulator bus). We are also right on the # 31, 32 and 36 bus lines. Our store is behind the National Observatory and the Vice President’s Residence, off of Embassy Row (Massachusetts Avenue NW). We are also a few blocks South of the National Cathedral.
If you attend or work at Georgetown University, please be aware that the GUTS bus stops half a block short of the store.
We also accept the GoCard at select registers.
