Whole Foods Market is proud to support The Green Project's 16th annual Salvations Furniture Competition! THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO RAISE $14,000 & SHELTER FOR 14 HAITI FAMILIES!

The Whole Foods Market Louisiana stores thank guests and team members for raising more than $13,940 on March 10^th for ShelterBox, an agency that responds to disasters with aid delivery boxes to the needy. The stores donated five percent of the day's net sales and made an additional contribution for an even $14,000!

ShelterBox supplies a tent for an extended family of 10 and essential equipment to use while they are displaced. Through the 5% Day, 14 Haiti families will receive ShelterBoxes which could affect up to 140 people! They will receive:

• Durable Plastic Box for Storage
• Customer-Designed Ten-Person Tent
• Mosquito Nets
• Collapsible Water Containers & Purifying Equipment
• Thermal Fleece Blankets
• Stove & Cooking Equipment
• Toolkit
• Waterproof Ponchos
• Waterproof Ground Mats

Our recipes use cage-free eggs and meats and poultry from animals not treated with hormones or antibiotics. We use as many organic products as possible, including produce, dairy, nuts, and grains.
