I’m crazy about breakfast and brunch. From pancakes to puffy quiches, a really good morning meal sets the stage for a wonderful day. And Christmas is one of my favorite times to make a special breakfast. After all, I’m already up early thanks to my son’s insistence of opening gifts as soon as his eyes pop open. Why not have something special ready to fill our bellies once the stockings have been emptied?

No matter your cooking style – whether you like to keep things simple or go all out – you can enjoy a fabulous breakfast on Christmas morning.

Quick Tips

  • Make sure you’ve read the recipe fully and note any special prep work. Some recipes might require rising or overnight times, and you don’t want to be surprised the morning of.
  • Mix together dry ingredients the night before and cover bowl with plastic wrap. Now you’re halfway there!
  • Pancake, waffle and crepe batter is always better after an overnight rest in the fridge.

I’ve gathered together some fantastic breakfast recipes for you to mix and match the morning of. Don’t forget to mix your sweet stuff with protein – you’ll need that energy to get through the day!
