HOW:

You can enter to win a year supply of Fiji water at any of our four locations in Utah! Just find our Fiji Water display in store, fill out the entry form, and put it in the raffle box! It's that simple, and if you win, you and your friends and family could be enjoying Fiji Water, on us, for the year!

The contest starts Friday, August 14 and runs through October 24 and there will be one winner per store. Please see below for official rules.

WHY: 

At Whole Foods Market one of our Core Values is our Green Mission to care about our environment and recycle, reuse, and reduce our waste where ever we can. We were the first major retailer to offset 100% of our energy use with wind energy credits. And we are glad to see that some of the world's largest retailers are following the example we've set in green building, the use of solar power, company-wide recycling programs, internal green mission programs and support for organics.

Fiji Water is reducing their amount of carbon in the atmosphere by cutting across their products' entire life cycle, and they are investing in forest carbon and renewable energy projects to take them beyond carbon neutral, to carbon negative.

Fiji also works with Conservation International, a leading conservation organization, for the protection and preservation of the Sovi Basin rainforest in Fiji, and promotes recycling of their bottles.

FIJI WATER/ WHOLE FOODS MARKET REAL SALT LAKE SWEEPSTAKES 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA OR CANADA (Excluding residents of Quebec, Puerto Rico, Guam and U.S. Virgin Islands), WHO ARE OF LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE.  Void in Quebec and where prohibited. Employees of Fiji Water Company LLC ("Sponsor"), Whole Foods Market, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, employees and such employees' immediate family members (parent, spouse, sibling, child, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.  Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility requirements of the winners. 

To Enter: Between 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") on August 14, 2009 and 11:59 p.m. PT on October 24, 2009 ("Entry Period"), visit any one Whole Foods Market location in the state of Utah, fill in an official entry form available at each location with any required information and submit it into an official sweepstakes drop box located at Whole Foods Market.  All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on October 24, 2009 to be eligible. Limit one entry per person for the entire Entry Period. No purchase necessary.  Entries received from any person in excess of the stated limitation will be void.  All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. 

Drawing:  Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about October 26, 2009 from all eligible entries received.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified on or about October 26, 2009 by phone, mail and/or e-mail and may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility (or if a resident of Canada, a Declaration), a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner selected.   Any Canadian resident who is a potential winner of any prize must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by telephone without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid in order to receive a prize. If a selected Canadian potential winner cannot be reached by telephone within a reasonable time period or answers the skill testing question incorrectly, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, he/she may be disqualified, and, at Sponsor's discretion, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.

Prizes: Grand Prize (1):  a year supply of FIJI water, in the form of one case of 500ml FIJI waters per calendar month for twelve months will be awarded to winner of random drawing ("Winner"). Approximate Retail Value: US$307 and actual value may vary. Prize is awarded by Sponsor.  All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winner are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes) and any other expenses, costs or fees associated with acceptance and/or use of the prizes not specified herein as being awarded. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or any portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value.  Additional restrictions may apply. 

General Conditions: Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any sweepstakes-related materials.  Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or Sponsor website or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void.  Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by non-authorized intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.  Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsor, Whole Foods, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) or participation in this sweepstakes.  Each winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Los Angeles, California, and all claims must be resolved in the appropriate state and federal courts of Los Angeles, California.  Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
