New Flagship Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles, California, to Open November 11

Retailer’s newest location to feature a taproom, charcuterie venue, coffee and juice bar, and more than 1,900 products from 400+ California-based suppliers

Los Angeles, Calif. (October 7, 2026) - Whole Foods Market will open a new 63,082-square-foot flagship store in the Bloom on Third shopping center located at 355 S. Ogden Drive in Los Angeles, on November 11, 2026. The store will open at 9:00 a.m. on opening day, and regular store hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. daily. Located at the intersection of 3rd & Fairfax, this store is a relocation of the original Fairfax store next door, which has served the Los Angeles community since 2002. The new store includes a designated parking structure with more than 600 parking spaces.

The location features new venues, an elevated specialty department, and a product assortment including more than 1,900 local items from California-based suppliers, sourced with the help of Patrick Wyman, Forager for Local & Emerging Brands at Whole Foods Market. The store will also offer a thoughtfully curated selection of products perfect for gifting and holiday entertaining.

Through the program, Whole Foods Market lends money to small-scale, local, or emerging producers to help them grow their businesses. Since 2006, the retailer has provided loans to more than 300 suppliers, representing roughly $42 million in capital for recipients.
Additionally on opening day, U.S. Veterans can receive one of Whole Foods Market’s signature brown butter chocolate chip cookies by visiting the customer service counter.
All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company’s rigorous quality standards opens in a new tab, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup, and more than 300 flavors, colors, sweeteners, and other ingredients commonly found in food.
