Zinfandel from the estate Margarita Vineyard in the Santa Margarita Ranch sub AVA of Paso Robles, CA
Deep, savory aromas of black cherry and plum with notes of vanilla, tobacco and spice. Bright, brambly flavors of raspberry and boysenberry with a juicy texture of black tea and cedar. Fresh acidity adds lift and structure to a sleek, peppery finish
The bright fruit and juicy texture of our Zinfandel make this wine a fitting match for fine comfort foods, including barbecued chicken, grilled sausage, Santa Maria-style tri-tip and vegetarian flatbread.
Cold-soaked prior to fermentation for a gentle extraction of color and flavor. After fermentation and light pressing, the lots were aged up to 17 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
We have earned the SIP (Sustainability In Practice) Certification for Margarita Vineyard. Family-owned, all-estate winery. Product received by customer may not be the same product that was made in the year in which the award or accolade was given.
