The García-Carrión farming tradition had its origin in Jumilla, Spain centuries ago. Our ancestors who owned the vineyards produced grapes and sold the wine at their own winery. In 1890, Jose García Carrión’s great grandfather built a new winery that was ahead of its time.
The Shiraz grapes are harvested at the optimum point. We have use a prefermentative maceration to extract the best color and aromas. A controlled temperature fermentation provides us a wine with structure and roundness.
Its bright ruby red color is matched by its intense fresh blackcurrant and cherry aromas with a hint of spicy black pepper. It’s firm and structured on the palate. Round tannins, and a tasty finish.
Amazing with BBQ baby back ribs and any kind of chocolate or cherry dessert.
