El Terrano

El Terrano Tempranillo, Red Wine, 750 mL Bottle

Description

  • Origin – Tierra de Castilla, Spain

  • This southern region, outside of Toledo, is ideal for rich and full-bodied wines. El Terrano Tempranillo is organically dry-farmed and crafted from vineyards near the villages of Dosbarrios and Cabañas de Yepes, and noted for cold, dry winters, warm summer days, and cool summer nights.

  • The El Terrano Tempranillo is full-bodied and robust. Saturated color with aromas and flavors of blackberry, currant, black pepper, and a touch of licorice.

  • Excellent pairing with grilled meats and smoky dishes, such as sausages, barbecue, kebabs and hearty vegetables that have a nice char from the grill.

  • A trio of winemaker friends and colleagues, Margarita Madrigal, Gonzalo Rodriguez and Alexandra Schmedes, craft this 90% Tempranillo and 10% Syrah. Aged for 5-8 months in French and American oak barrels.

  • Vintage may vary
