A blend of premium vineyards in El Dorado County, Amador County, Lake County, Napa County and Lodi. The grapes were optically sorted. The wine was basket-pressed and racked to oak barrels for fermentation and aging.
Established in 1980 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer, Rombauer Vineyards is a beloved family-owned Napa Valley winery with premier vineyard holdings in several counties. Today, Rombauer is owned by second- and third-generation family members.
Our California Zinfandel exudes aromas of ripe blackberry and boysenberry with black tea, vanilla and spice. Lush flavors of fig, blackberry jam, licorice and vanilla flood the palate, followed by touches of dark chocolate and white pepper.
