Domaine Delaporte’s wines are all made from grapes grown in estate vineyards which today extend over 80 acres and are farmed using sustainable and biodynamic practices while eliminating all herbicides.
Located in the heart of the Sancerre region, Domaine Delaporte is a family business that dates to the 17th century. The domaine is found in the beautiful village of Chavignol; Vincent Delaporte’s grandson, Matthieu Delaporte, took over in 2010.
Very expressive and intense nose with boxwood, rhubarb, blackcurrant, kiwi fragrances, and a light vegetal touch. The entry is soft and round—bright freshness on the palate, delicate and lively purity. Well balanced and harmonious.
A superb apertif that also improves asian dishes, fish dishes, sushi, and grilled or roasted white meats.
