The average age of our vines is approximately 70 years old. Barrel aged 15 months in 16% new French oak and the remainder in neutral French and American oak.
Since planting our first vines in 1895, the Seghesio family name has become synonymous with the highest quality Zinfandel and Italian varietal wines from Sonoma County.
An elegant entry of briary red raspberry and dark fruits with a pleasing hint of cinnamon spice. Luscious midpalate richness, integrated tannins, mouthwatering acidity and a long finish.
Pairs well with steak or other grilled meats, mashed potatoes and roasted seasonal veggies.
