Description
Domestic: Columbia Valley, Washington, USA
Encompassing 570,000 acres, the Horse Heaven Hills AVA stretches along side the Columbia River in South Central Washington. The combination of up-river and sun-drenched canopies imparts full fruit flavors and fine, smooth tannins on the resulting wines.
This wine has classic rich, blackberry aromas that are characteristic of the Horse Heaven Hills appellation. The dark berries continue on to the palate, with some vanilla notes from the French oak, and refined tannins on the finish.
100% American Oak
Pairs well with Beef, Spicy food, Mature and hard cheese and Poultry
