This wine comes from prime estate blocks. It receives uncompromised care from the vineyards to the cellar, and expresses a rich and truthful voice of this beautiful heritage grape. Stainless-steel only.
The Vajra family has farmed Bricco delle Viole, the highest cru in Comune di Barolo, since the XVII century, and owned parcels there since the late 1880s.
This wine has a lively deep purple color. The nose opens with tones of wild berries, mulberry, hints of white pepper and sweet spices and fresh thyme. The palate is bursting with blue fruits and fresh plums, with a gentle tart touch.
A true food-friendly wine that enhances egg pastas, pizza, white and red meats and vegetable-based dishes.
