The Sancerre "La Coulée" has been sourced from a Domaine located a few kilometers away from the famous village of Sancerre. Known for its exceptional Sauvignon Blanc wines, the Sancerre appellation is located along the left bank of the Loire River, stretching across 3,000 hectares (7,413 acres).
Sancerre is part of the central vineyards of the Loire Valley. The distance from the Atlantic gives this region a continental climate with short, hot summers and long, cold winters. The most dominating geographical influence of Sancerre is the nearby Loire river, as the vineyard of is located on the west bank of the river. The vines are grown on south facing slopes, at altitudes between 200 and meters.
The appearance is bright gold in the glass with classic Sancerre aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers, and gooseberries.
Minerality and freshness shine throughout the tasting experience and contribute to a long, flavorful finish.
