In traditional midwifery, sitzbath soaks are used to soothe irritations and strengthen delicate tissues. This herbal formula helps to promote a healthy inflammatory response, encourage lymphatic function and astringe and restore delicate tissues after birth.

Couple our herbal sitz bath with other postpartum essentials: AfterEase an Pereneium Massage Oil. Instructions: Simmer a handful (about 1/3 cup) in a quart of boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Strain out herbs and add liquid to warm water in a sitzbath tub. A large bowl or small tub may be used instead. Do not over-dilute in full bathtub.
