Brown Rice Miso, also known as genmai miso is a dark miso with concentrated umami flavor.
Vegan, kosher, organic, gluten-free, non-GMO. Naturally fermented for a minimum of 12 months without fermentation accelerants such as yeast or applied heat.
Miso is a versatile ingredient that can be used in soups, salad dressings, sauces, and glazes, or as an umami seasoning in almost any recipe, including baked goods and sweets.
Miso is a fermented "living" food that contains beneficial bacteria believed to aid in digestion and gut health.
Our brown rice miso is naturally aged in wooden barrels for a minimum of one year, resulting in pure umami flavor without the aftertaste of addtives such as yeast or alcohol.
