100% Garnacha, crafted by winemaker Ana Becoechea. The Cariñena designation of origin is the oldest D.O. of Aragon, the first in Spain and home to some of the oldest vines in the country. The vines are bush pruned and suffer from cold nights and warm days, perfect for the phenolic development of the grapes, and the retention of high acidity.

The El Terrano Garnacha is full-bodied and powerful with rich textures and impressive energy. It delivers beautiful scents of violets, wild berries and a hint of licorice, met by flavors of cassis, blackberry and blueberry. Serving Temperature: Ambient: 60 -65 degrees F
A perfect accompaniment to robust fare, such as roast pork tenderloin, lean red game meat and smoked or spicy dishes, like curry.
