We set out to make a better for you version of the classic candy bar without sacrificing taste! This led us to choosing dates as our base instead of a bunch of synthetic ingredients.
Dates have a naturally chewy and sweet, caramel like flavor all on their own so, we don’t need to add any cane sugar or other fillers- just a hint of coconut sugar in our chocolate coating is all the added sweetness needed!
What we put into our products (and what we leave out) is so important to us.
Our candy bars start with a an organic deglet noor date base, then we mix in something crunchy (Peanuts for our Salted Peanut bar, Cacao Nibs for Triple Cacao, and Almonds and Shredded Coconut for Coconut Almond), everything is coated with a decadent fair trade dark chocolate sweetened with just a hint of coconut sugar.
We don't add any cane sugar, artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors!
