Cookies by Shar
Shar Melwani, Founder
Located in Davie, Florida, Cookies by Shar was started after Shar discovered her love for baking while preparing for her daughter’s first birthday. Now, starting with the finest ingredients, Cookies by Shar makes premium baked goods decorated to be as delicious to the eye as they are to the palate.
Chris Gove & Dustin Jeffers, Founders
When a group of ocean-loving Floridians got together to form Saltwater Brewery, they made sure to keep the sea at heart. While they are always refining the taste of their unique, handcrafted beers, they also make sure to advocate for the ocean through fundraising and educational events with nonprofit partners. Perhaps the coolest part: They’re the first brewery to use E6PR (Eco Six Pack Ring), made out of by-product waste and compostable materials.
Lauren Feingold and Ashanty Williams, Founders
Lauren and Ashanty’s dual passion for working out at the gym and cooking in the kitchen helped to create this line of plant-based protein bars. “There were no bars on the market that delivered the ingredients we craved,” they stated. The way they look at it, each ingredient is there for a reason. Miami’s high-performance athletes took notice. On your mark, get set, eat!
Autumn Bloom, founder
Stream2Sea was born when Autumn Bloom, an avid diver and environmentalist, stopped to reconsider common skincare products and the possible impact of some ingredients on our health and the environment. Her sunscreen does not contain oxybenzone and octinoxate — ingredients that potentially damage coral reefs. Additionally, the tube packaging is made from sugarcane resins.
Vegan Heavenly Delights
Dairy-free dips & desserts
Brooke Henzel, founder
When her doctor told her she had high blood pressure, Brooke Henzel course corrected. She pivoted to a plant-based lifestyle, became a personal trainer/fitness nutritionist and, oh yeah, she founded her own company. After making her own high-quality vegan cheese dips and desserts from scratch, she took her recipe to the public and created Vegan Heavenly Delights.
Zak the Baker

Zak the Baker’s naturally leavened and hand-shaped breads are made using traditional methods he learned from his many overseas apprenticeships. Zak brought his honed skills back to his hometown and opened a bakery, serving the community with made-from-scratch breads, pies, cookies and more.

We Love Local
Loving our local growers, artisans, makers, entrepreneurs and producers is something that just comes, well, naturally. After all, our local community has been one of our most important ingredients — it's been that way since the doors opened to our very first store.
