Apple Pie Smoothie

Hearty and gently sweet, this morning smoothie combines the classic flavors of apples, cinnamon and oats. Watch our how-to video.
Ingredients: 
  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened plain almondmilk
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 large Red Delicious or Gala apple, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Method: 
Combine almondmilk, oats, applesauce, cinnamon, vanilla (if using) and chopped apple in a blender and blend until smooth. Add ice and blend again until smooth. Pour into 2 tall glasses and garnish with apple slices
