Put 1 1/2 cups of the strawberries, milk, cream and sugar into a blender or food processor and purée until smooth. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup strawberries, then pour mixture into an ice cream maker or frozen dessert machine and finish according to the manufacturer's directions. Scoop ice cream into bowls and serve.
