Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream

It just doesn't get any better. Use fresh, summer strawberries, the sweetest of the year, to make this perfect, kid-friendly treat.
Ingredients: 
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Method: 
Put 1 1/2 cups of the strawberries, milk, whipping cream and sugar into a blender or food processor and purée until smooth. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup strawberries, then pour mixture into an ice cream maker or frozen dessert machine and finish according to the manufacturer's directions. Scoop ice cream into bowls and serve.
