Herb and Garlic Goat Cheese Dip

Serve this fresh herbed twist on goat cheese with crisp endive leaves, carrot sticks, crackers or chips for dipping. Seasoning on fresh goat cheese varies, so make sure you taste the finished dip before adding salt, since you may not need it.
Ingredients
  • 4 ounces fresh goat cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Method

Combine goat cheese and sour cream thoroughly with a food processor.

Transfer to a small bowl and use a rubber spatula to stir in green onions, parsley, basil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight before serving.
