The flavor of this soothing, warm tonic is enriched with the gentle spiciness of chai’s cardamom, cloves and nutmeg.
Ingredients: 
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tea bags masala chai
  • 2 teaspoons mushroom powder, such as reishi
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
Method: 
Divide boiling water between 2 mugs and place 1 tea bag in each. Let steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags, and whisk 1 teaspoon mushroom powder and 1 teaspoon maple syrup into each mug. Serve immediately.
