Prepare a grill for medium heat cooking. In a medium bowl, combine butter, sugar, rum, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Brush the peaches all over with the butter-sugar mixture. Grill peaches, basting with butter-sugar mixture occasionally, until browned, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Serve at once, spooning any remaining glaze over the grilled peaches. Garnish with almonds.
