Cranberry Relish with Dried Cherries

This brown sugar-sweetened relish makes use of both fresh and dried fruit. It's a great accompaniment to roast turkey, sliced pork loin or grilled chicken.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed

Method

Combine cherries, cranberries, cardamom and brown sugar in a food processor.

Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for 1 day before serving.
