Easy Grilled Pork Chops with Fresh Herbs

While you're grilling the pork, toss asparagus or sliced squash with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and grill alongside the chops until just tender.

- 2 (1-inch thick) bone-in pork chops
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped mixed herbs (such as parsley, thyme and chives)
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Method
Prepare a grill for medium heat cooking.
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
Lightly brush both sides of the chops with oil, then set aside on a plate at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Grill chops over direct medium heat, turning once, for 6 to 7 minutes on each side.
Transfer to a platter and set aside to let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with herbs and serve.
