Goat Cheese with Spicy Pecans

Use as much cayenne as you like to spice up this rich, creamy appetizer. Letting the goat cheese come to room temperature after coating it in the pecan mixture will make for easy spreading on crostini or crackers.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup finely chopped toasted pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- cayenne, pinch of
- 1 (4- to 6-ounce) log soft goat cheese
- Crostini or crackers
Method
Combine pecans, paprika and cayenne on a large plate.
Roll goat cheese in mixture until completely covered.
Transfer to a serving plate with crackers or crostini.
