Serve this tangy spread with crusty bread, seasonal fruits and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Light orange blossom honey or robust eucalyptus honey would complement the cheese and fragrant lavender.
- 12 ounces soft goat cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons dried culinary lavender
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
Whisk together goat cheese, heavy cream, lavender, honey and sea salt in a large bowl until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
