Herb Garden Salad

Mixed herbs, such as parsley, thyme or chives, add flavor and fragrance to any green salad. Serve this side dish with crumbled goat or blue cheese sprinkled over the top.

Ingredients

    6 cupsmixed greens (such as red leaf, Boston or romaine lettuce, radicchio, or arugula), torn into bite-size pieces
    1/3 cupchopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, basil, chives, cilantro, dill, tarragon)
    2 tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oil
    1 tablespoonbalsamic vinegar
    4red radishes, thinly sliced
    16walnut halves
    12cherry tomatoes
    1/4 teaspoonground black pepper

Method

In a large bowl, combine greens, herbs, oil, vinegar and radishes, and toss gently to combine. 


Arrange tomatoes and walnuts over the top and season with pepper. Serve immediately.
