The combo of creamy blue cheese, sweet dates and salty prosciutto is irresistible. Serve them as the starter to an elegant meal, or as part of a cocktail party spread.
Method
Simmer balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat until thick and syrupy, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, pit and halve dates and stuff with blue cheese crumbles.
Wrap each date half in a piece of prosciutto.
Secure with a toothpick or bamboo skewer.
Grill 30 to 45 seconds per side, then drizzle with reduced balsamic.
