Sauerkraut Coleslaw

Try this super-simple, probiotic-boosted addition to tailgating parties or other fun meals. If you prefer a creamy slaw, stir the sauerkraut together with 1/4 cup light mayonnaise and 1/2 teaspoon sugar before adding it to the cabbage.
Ingredients
  • 5 cups finely sliced green cabbage
  • 1 1/2 cup prepared sauerkraut (do not drain)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon whole mustard seeds
Method

In a large bowl, combine cabbage, sauerkraut and mustard seeds and toss well. 

Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes and up to 5 days before serving.
