Sesame-Thyme Goat Cheese with Crostini

Serve this elegant appetizer with glasses of chilled white or rosé wine, if you like.

  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, finely chopped, plus a few sprigs for garnish
  • 1 (4- to 6-ounce) log, crotin or pyramid fresh goat cheese
  • Crostini or crackers

Method

Combine sesame seeds, pepper and thyme on a large plate. Roll goat cheese in mixture until completely covered. 

Transfer to a serving plate with crackers or crostini.
