Southwest Tortilla Strips

Makes 1 to 2 cups

This multi-purpose mini recipe is great as a topping for tortilla soup or as an addictive game-day snack.
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 4 whole wheat or corn tortillas
Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F. 

Stir together chili powder, cumin and 1 tablespoon water. Brush onto tortillas and cut into strips. 

Arrange strips on a large rimmed baking sheet, seasoned-side up, and bake until crisp, about 10 minutes. 

Serve as is or break into smaller pieces.
