Spaghetti with Spicy Lamb Ragoût

Serve this simple pasta dish with a crusty baguette and green salad.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red chile flakes
- 1 (25.0-ounce) jar roasted red pepper pasta sauce
- 8 ounces dried spaghetti
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Method
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Add lamb and crushed chile flakes and cook until the lamb is browned, about 10 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low and add sauce.
Simmer while you prepare the pasta.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
Add pasta and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
Drain and divide into serving bowls.
Top with sauce and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
