Icy, yogurt-based lassi is a favorite refresher in India. Sometimes made with mango, this delicious version uses strawberries.
- 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- 2 cups strawberries
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup nonfat (0%) milk
- Few pinches ground cardamom
Combine yogurt, strawberries and honey in a blender and pulse until strawberries are puréed. Add ice and milk and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 tall glasses and garnish with cardamom.
Per serving: 180 calories (5 from fat), 0g total fat, 0g saturated fat, 5mg cholesterol, 105mg sodium, 42g carbohydrates (3g dietary fiber, 34g sugar), 8g protein.
