This versatile sauce can be drizzled over raw or cooked vegetables, as well as grains.
- 1 tablespoon mellow (light) miso
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients with 1/4 cup water. For a thinner sauce, add more water.
Per serving: about 2 Tablespoons, 120 calories (90 from fat), 10g total fat, 1.5g saturated fat, 0mg cholesterol, 190mg sodium, 5g carbohydrates (1g dietary fiber, 1g sugar), 4g protein.
