Toddler Banana Smoothie
Makes about 1 cup

If others in the family enjoy this naturally sweet smoothie, made with nut butter, banana and applesauce, double or triple the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon creamy nut or seed butter, such as almond, cashew or sunflower
- 1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or ground cinnamon
- 1/2 banana
- 2 large ice cubes
Method
Combine applesauce, milk, nut butter, vanilla, banana and ice cubes in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses, or serve half and refrigerate remaining smoothie in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
