Warm Balsamic Vinaigrette with Hazelnuts

Warm vinaigrettes like this one are always appropriate to pair with hearty greens like spinach or arugula. Drizzle this dressing over roasted or steamed veggies or even grilled chicken breasts, too.

- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1/4 cup hazelnuts coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Method
Heat oil in a small heavy skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and hazelnuts and cook, stirring, until garlic is golden. Whisk in vinegar, salt and pepper. Remove from heat and serve over you favorite salad.
