Getting everyone out the door on time can be a struggle. Grabbing important papers, getting dressed, making sure the kids brush their teeth, packing lunches — it all adds up. And of course you can’t forget about breakfast!
Ensuring your family has a good breakfast each morning helps them be able to focus until lunchtime, and keeps us adults from reaching for more cups of coffee or those tempting office treats. While we might not have much time in the morning, there are lots of options for getting a good, healthy breakfast together.
Make recipes ahead of time either using your slow cooker (they’re not just for dinner!) or doing a batch cook on the weekend when you have more time. I like to stock our kitchen with homemade granola and muffins. They do double duty as breakfast staples and after-school snacks!
