That’s $225,000 to help microlending programs around the globe. We encourage you to support these generous vendors today and on October 25th and on any other day!
October 25th is special for another reason: it’s the Whole Planet Foundation’s birthday! Back in 2005, that’s the day when Whole Food Market customers funded our start up by participating in a global 5% community giving day. Thanks to your generosity, we hit the ground running and haven’t slowed down since. To date, Whole Planet Foundation has provided more than $29 million to microlending projects in 57 countries around the world, supporting more than 1.7 million people with a chance for a better life.
