UPDATE: You may have received an email from us promising 8 Extra-Fast Dinner Ideas. That info was left out, and we apologize. Here are those dinner ideas. Happy cooking!
We asked Molly Siegler, our culinary content editor, to share some of her favorite new recipes coming out of our test kitchen. Here’s one that’s great for kids and grownups alike, because who doesn’t love a good tot? And this one has a twist!
Any five-ingredient recipe is the coolest in my book and I love how these tots are mostly veggies—held together with a little whole wheat bread and egg. Super bonus points for an easy way to make these vegan. Grind flaxseeds together with water and you’ll get a great binder with egg-like consistency. I would make a giant batch of these tots on the weekend and freeze them for easy snacks and sides whenever the mood strikes. (I like to use my freezer as a second pantry area and you should, too!).
