What are Veggie Chips?

How to Make Veggie Chips
To make veggie chips, you will need a sharp knife or a mandoline and a steady hand. A mandoline is a flat slicing tool that allows you to create thin, even slices of fruits and vegetables. Mandoline blades are very sharp, so take care to always use the safety attachment, and keep your fingers away from the blade.
Veggie chips only need a small amount of oil to help them crisp (and not stick to the pan). Remember that the thicker the chip, the longer it will take to bake, so it’s important to get your veggie slices as uniform as possible and also to keep an eye on them in the oven.
Veggie chips are best immediately after baking; you can save them for later snacking — they’ll just lose some of their crunch.
