How to Make Dinner in 30 Minutes or Less

We took to Instagram to uncover quicker dinner secrets from some of our favorite feeds. They've each caught our attention for different reasons. For example, one makes the most of fiber-rich lentils while another is a take on a long-time favorite (fajitas!). Yet all can be made in about 30 minutes and are guaranteed to please. Check out who's in the kitchen and what's cooking tonight.
Vegan Lentil Avocado and Tomato Salad
The sister duo behind May I have that recipe has developed a filling and flavorful salad that's easy to prepare. The lentils have a total cooking time of 30 minutes during which you can prep the rest of the ingredients. Looking to save even more time? Prep the lentils the day before. Save leftovers for lunch or a serve as a side the following evening.
One-Pot Sweet and Spicy Mango Chicken
Cozy comfort food in less than 20 minutes — you bet. With warming spices like turmeric, paprika and chili powder plus mango and tomatoes, this deeply flavorful dish by The Dish on Healthy is what happens when coconut red curry meets sweet and sour chicken. You can easily adjust the level of spice as needed. Money-saving tip: Air-chilled organic whole chicken is on sale for $2.29 per lb from 3/7 - 3/13/18*.
Sheet Pan Nachos
Nachos for dinner? Sure, just amp it up like this recipe from Last Ingredient. Time-savers like canned black beans and frozen corn make it easy, and sliced jalapeños gives it a spicy kick. While the recipe is vegetarian, it's easy to top with shredded cooked chicken or cooked ground beef. Bonus: 85% lean ground beef is on sale for $3.99 per lb from 3/7 - 3/13/18*. Round out the meal with a simple green salad, if desired.
