Remix Your Recipes with Beer and Cider

Beer-Glazed Salmon with Roasted Mushrooms

Have you ever enjoyed a bottle of beer or cider and pondered how that distinctive flavor would taste in a recipe? We have and the results are delicious!

Whether you are partial to herbal IPAs, nutty ales, earthy stouts or spicy hard ciders, all add that special something to cool-weather cooking (and baking, too!). Plus, fall’s heartier ingredients and warming dishes give you the perfect opportunity to play with pairing beer and cider.

In recipes replace water, broth or wine with beer or cider as the cooking liquid. Use them in soups, stews, and marinades. They’re equally wonderful for braising, poaching and even vinaigrettes. You can even add them to a cake or bread batter!

Here are some ideas and recipes to get you started.
